the Jewish Quarter of Rome, Australia’s famous Bondi Beach and now here in our synagogue.
While the world now mainly sees images of destruction in Gaza it seems the issue of the hostages has slowly drifted to the margins and we need to make sure their faces remain front and centre in any peace negotiation. It must be the first item, free the hostages, and then we can discuss a
humanitarian ceasefire and release of any political prisoners in Israel who were not complicit in the October 7 massacre.
We must thank Shelley Rosen and Sheila Baker for organizing this initiation and coming in with a group of volunteers to put up the tables, add the tablecloths and shabbat items and add a full colour picture to every chair. We must continue to call for their release, every minute of
every day, until they are all home safely to their families
