Safety Leadership Workshop

Purpose

• Provide an Environmental, Safety and Health (ES&H) leadership education program for
all leaders/potential leaders
• With your help, develop a project-specific plan to prevent accidents
• Prepare leaders to:
o Maximize employee involvement
o Challenge employees to make ES&H a value
o Use effective tools and techniques to reach the stretch goals

Desired Outcomes

• Understanding that ES&H is a VALUE
• Be aware of what has to change to get to Zero Accidents
• Understanding that ES&H work practices should be integrated in the daily work planning
cycle
• Commitment to correcting at-risk behaviors and fixing unsafe conditions
• Leading the drive to get all employees involved in the Zero Accidents processes
• Developing a plan of action to help this project work without employees getting injured or
becoming ill
• Increased use of the tools and techniques to prevent injuries and illnesses
• Ownership of the safety program
