Executive Summary

This executive summary is intended to outline our thinking behind the attached proposal and
how we plan to address your goals, priorities and interests as shared in your request.

Our Understanding
• Attendees are retired from EY but maintain invested interest in the firm
• Spouses are invited to join in all events
• Creativity and budget are important factors in your DMC partner decision
• Welcome Reception – you like to embrace the location and include takeaway options
• Closing Reception – this is a little more formal than the Welcome but everyone still likes to come and party

Overview of our Recommendation

• Welcome Reception Options – these were all designed to speak to the location whether the focus is on palm
trees, beautiful sunsets or the Daytona Speedway. We looked to give you various creative outlets that speak to
being in Florida and offer great takeaway options.

NOTE: we included sample diagrams to showcase how we work with the hotel and Reedy Creek permitting to
maximize space on the Causeway and Lake Terrace. This is a very specific site and we have years of experience
working with both the hotel and local authorities to ensure that there are no surprises based on what is proposed.

NOTE: we also have experience in placing a stage over the clamshell in this area to maximize your space. This
element requires very specific permitting and measurements as well as coordination with the hotel on load -in,
load-out and setup including engineering, lighting, grounds and other departments. This is a complicated
element but achieves a huge impact for your event.

• Closing Reception – we focused here on our proximity to the ocean – and the onsite beach – to inform an elegant
but accessible array of décor elements and leave attendees with a fresh Florida vibe. We take advantage of the
pool by activating the space with lighting balloons and we have adjusted based on our onsite knowledge of wind
patterns and sound accessibility. These elements are built into our design features.
