Each Postal Circle is divided into Postal and
Divisions and
R.M.S divisions. The head of a postal division is
Sub Divisions in the Superintendent or Senior Superintendent of
a Circle Post Offices (SP or SSP) and that of the R.M.S
division, Superintendent or Senior
Superintendent, R.M.S (SRM or SSRM). The

Divisions are further divided into Sub Divisions.
Each Postal Sub Division is kept in the charge of
Inspector of Post Offices (IPO). Similarly each
R.M.S Sub Division is kept in the charge of
Inspector, R.M.S (IRM). This is the
administrative set up of Postal and R.M.S wings.
