the Best on National Business Test!
!
Each year thousands of business majors across The United States and around the world take the Major Field test in business as the exit exam requirement for business school accreditation. Students are tested in four areas of business including managerial accounting, management, finance, and marketing. The MFT-MBA and similar tests are used by business school accreditation bodies such as the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) to satisfy their assessment and accountability requirements.
The MFT-MBA is based on MBA core curriculum with the content constructed using the results of a national curriculum survey. According to the Educational Testing Service, content experts from a diverse representation of higher education institutions (including Major Field Test users and nonusers) participate in this survey. Basing the exam on core curriculum makes it a level playing field exam, giving it meaningful results and enabling it to measure reasoning ability.
The John Massey School of Business recognizes those students who score in the top ten percent among all students who completed the Major Field Test. This year we had four students score exceptionally well on the test and are recognizing them with a certificate of achievement.
Congratulations to Southeastern MBA students Shaun Long, Kenneth Smith, Alexis Rhodes, and Jacob Baack!
