Import /export canine couriers having to hustle awe. “Good morning to you too” he replied in
new routes to avoid the countries shutting a humble Yorkshire accent. “Think your gonna
their boarders with no apparent warning. Also, win?” I asked admiring the work that had gone
new owners going abroad to collect their long into grooming three bright white poodles, “ Its
awaited pup only to themselves being stranded not the winning” he said “…its the fact we are
in a quarantined zone for weeks with no way to here “ …. well, that brought me to tears…

Also the Judges, don’t forget them. Judges
who had down excellent entries and were in British stiff upper lip and true sporting nature
some cases still being assessed or observed is needed more than ever today, and that
before their judging appointments were granted, showman had it in plenty. So Best wishes and
waiting for the go ahead. And stewards who love to you all with this brave new season.

sell but the internet. And also the people who
rely on dog shows purely for their social, fun
and adventure.... done, over, nothing. Endless
           disappointment and total confusion throughout.

           So is it over?

Is this endless stop start over?

Can organisers finally put on a show without
being stopped short or made to feel like they
           shouldn’t have even bothered?

Well..shows are starting up now like little sprouts
of hope, which we should now all be grateful
for. We need to seize the moment with every
breath. It is up to us to bring back everything we
love about showing and not allow fear to rule our
heads and sorrow to rule our hearts.

This brings back my memory of a hotel at
Crufts last March, Crufts 2020 being the last
show probably anyone attended. I was out my
hotel door for 6am and next door to me was
also leaving. Three immaculate miniature white
poodles groomed to perfection were on their
way to Crufts. The dogs were lead by the most
immaculate turned out gentleman I’ve ever seen
on a show day. Complete with cravat, tweed
