Is this endless stop start over?
Can organisers finally put on a show without
being stopped short or made to feel like they
shouldn’t have even bothered?
Well..shows are starting up now like little sprouts
of hope, which we should now all be grateful
for. We need to seize the moment with every
breath. It is up to us to bring back everything we
love about showing and not allow fear to rule our
heads and sorrow to rule our hearts.
This brings back my memory of a hotel at
Crufts last March, Crufts 2020 being the last
show probably anyone attended. I was out my
hotel door for 6am and next door to me was
also leaving. Three immaculate miniature white
poodles groomed to perfection were on their
way to Crufts. The dogs were lead by the most
immaculate turned out gentleman I’ve ever seen
on a show day. Complete with cravat, tweed
suite and polished brogue shoes sporting a
grin from ear to ear. Proud he was and ready to
