There were a couple of subjects that I touched
on last time, and said I would revisit at a later
date: Greeders, or to be more specific, Cross-
Breed Greeders (try saying that without your
teeth in!), being one of them.

I, like many others, have never really
understood this bizarre fascination people have
with cross-breeds. Or ‘designer dogs’, as they
have become labelled. I am sure that, once
upon a time, there was a reason for all this
actually starting, but this has now been lost in
the clouds of history, and blurred by the desire
for a profit that is being made on the back of
a fallacy, a fallacy that is now being driven by
public gullibility.

There are literally hundreds of pure breeds. All
shapes, all sizes, all with their own individual
traits, all unique in their own special way. In fact,
one for every conceivable taste, job and desire.
So why do we need to mix them all up?
