A person can be partially or completely unemplo- yed. What does this mean? If you worked 40 hours a week and then were cut down to 20, you can apply for the 20 hours you can apply for the 20 hours you lost.
Aid amounts range from $ 40 to $ 450 a week. Be- nefits are calculated based on what a person ear- ned in the last 12 months.
This insurance is not indefinite, it has a maximum coverage of 1 year.
When you file an unemployment insurance applica- tion, you will be mailed a notice telling you the date the benefit begins and ends, and the amount you will receive weekly.
Information asked in the application: first and last name, address,
Social Security number, details of the employers for which you
worked for the last 18 months, and details of your
supervisor (name and phone number).
