To be able to apply for unemployment insurance, you must be legally registered to work in your state.
Unemployment insurance is a program that offers financial be- nefits to workers who become unemployed for reasons beyond their control.
Unemployment doesn’t mean not doing a thing. The person must be willing and available to return to work if the opportunity arises. If the same system offers you a job and you don’t take
it, you automatically lose your benefits. You must make an effort to look for work and follow the instructions given to you for your search.
