Doubles Count on Make 10
Doubles: Add the EX: 8 + 5 Family of 10 :
number with itself Count the 1+9 = 10
EX: smaller number 2+8 = 10
double 7 7+7=14 ( 5) after the 3+7= 10
double 8 8+8=16 greater (8) , then 4+6= 10
double 10 is 20 find the total (13) 5+5 = 10
8 is double 4
double = twice So , 8 + 5 = 13 EX:
so , Twice 3 is 6 .
using doubles find
7 + 6 = …..
1+6+6
= 1 + 12
= 13
