The Poor He was struggling every morning,
        hungry for weeks,
Ill fed, Ill Clothed, Illiterate, In the jaws of death,
Ostracised, overwhelmed, overpowered, but he had a good heart,
Submissive, subservient, subjugated, stigmatised, For I smiled at him and with all that was going on with him,
Disowned, deprived, deserted, desolate, derelict, He still smiled back.
 detested, damned.

                                                                                                Then why this noise,
As I was walking down the street, The bad dreams of my marriage,
I came across a man sniffing his nose, and the father of my kids,
Through the chilly breeze and he let out a sneeze, his next meal.
You could see that he was starved,
He was wearing a thin blanket that hardly covered him, And I dream of reaching the moon,
He had skinny arms, legs and knees, Is this wrong?
 hopeless indeed. So wrong?
        This sound in my head,
WORDS 2020 -21 shivering in the cold frigid snow, Please do not kill my dream. WORDS 2020 -21
        It echoes like a scream,
 Struggling to stay alive,

 That was stinging his face,
He sat quietly disguising himself near the snow,
