A Few Have Even Died for You                                   A World with Equality
        Started by Elizabeth Cady,                                     A world with equality,
        she began the women’s rights movement,                         Where a girl can go to school,
        Let’s pass back to the ‘60s                                    Get good grades,
        Where the Second Wave of Feminism Began                        Graduate to college and be acknowledged.
        No matter your gender or sexuality,                            A world with equality,
        Feminists have fought with you                                 Where men can like men,
        They’ve been fighting for you                                  And women can like women,
        A few have died for you                                        And still be paid like the straight.
                                                                        A world with equality,
        Jumping to the 1990s,                                          Where boys can play with Barbie,
        the start of the third wave                                    And girls can play with hulk,
        The feminists walked around the streets and shouted,           and still be treated like everyone else.
        “Hey you!                                                      There’s no easy way to say this,
        You can wear them high heels and still kick ‘em’!”             We live,
        Don’t you ever wonder,                                         Where we all are in a world the same,
        “Why is being straight a default?”                             But not equal.

        In the 21st century,
        we are now living through the fourth wave.                     We came to this planet,
        Today, what are we fighting for?                               So long ago,
        It’s still equality.                                           We wished for prosperity,
                                                                       And we have become our own foe,
        Call it a fight against body shaming or homophobia or encourag-
        ing men in dresses                                             We came to this planet,
        We’re going to fight too                                       Oh god, what have we done,
        We would die for you too.                                      Underneath the oceans, there is a fish who is blinded, by the
