Action Poverty

The land is in a constant as a state of birth, Look at them, surviving on one piece of bread,
Giving life to all who live on Earth They can’t even get food so they can be fed,
Giving life to all who live on Earth. They ask for money every day,
Our carelessness and fears Though it’s not very safe.
Have taken a toll over the years.
This land is parched and scorched Risking everything for food, shelter and care,
As the man continues to light the torch. Do you really think it’s fair?
We continue a want of speed and ease, While the rich,
All while our pesticides kill off our bees. Walk by them and give them a hiss.
It’s time to wake up and see Mother Earth’s pain.
Humanity’s selfishness is becoming insane. We can’t let them live all their lives on a street,
Soon her cries will turn to the gloom, Why not give them something to eat?
And man will cause its doom. The tiniest of things,
        Make them happy,
Meghal Chaudhary While we sit on the throne like we’re kings.

        Please dear God,
Don’t you think this is odd?
Zero Hunger Please help those in need,
Give them all the support that they need,
Maybe even now, I always wonder how To come out of this vicious cycle of poverty,
People who die of starvation And live a life of dignity.
What if they exist deep up in the cloud?
Or other side of our plane Anirudh Jain
Or even as a ghost standing next to me MYP -3
 Asking me, questioning me
“Could you not give me some food?”
“Could you not stop me from dying?”
Starving children, starving adults and Starving old people
beg for food with their weak body in my dreams.
Maybe even now, I always wonder how
By not wasting food, and sharing extra resources
WORDS 2020 -21 Maybe even now, I always wonder how WORDS 2020 -21
 No-one would die of starvation
Cause Zero Hunger is the need of the earth.
Can I make this earth of a place to survive?
