WILKES DOLAN
Quiet by nature, and one who never complains, Wilkes has been the type of wrestler that Charlotte Latin prides itself in having. Wilkes joined the team in the 6th grade and has worked tirelessly on improving not only his own skills, but also the abilities of his fellow teammates. Like most Latin wrestlers, Wilkes is a multi-sport athlete who contributes off the mat as a member of the lacrosse team. In his senior season, Wilkes fin- ished third at CISAAs and 5th at states in the 152 lb weight class.
THOMAS HULLINGER-CAPTAIN
As a seven-year member of the Mat Hawk program, Thomas has brought an athletic presence to the wrestling room throughout his career. As a first-time starter in 2021, Thomas was able to help strengthen the program’s middle weights while placing at the state tournament. Thomas not only ex- cels on the mat, but he is also a starter for Latin baseball and is a member
of the school’s Student Athlete Lead- ership Team. Voted a captain by his teammates in his senior year, Thomas finished his wrestling career with a 4th place at CISAAs and 6th place at NCISAAs.
DAVE MOSRIE-CAPTAIN
A member of the wrestling team since 6th grade, and a varsity starter all
four years of high school, Dave has long been a leader in the Charlotte Latin wrestling program. Fundamen- tal Dave, as he is referred to around campus, started his wrestling career by capturing a middle school conference championship in 8th grade. He contin- ued his winning ways as he moved up to high school by placing in the state tournament for three years. As a senior wrestling captain, an All-State football player, and a starter on the Charlotte Latin baseball team, Dave is the epito- me of what it means to be a Charlotte Latin Hawk!
