OWEN REIMERS
Owen is another seven-year member of the wrestling team, and has been an ideal teammate in our program
for some time. As a middle weight wrestler, Owen has been able to not only bring stability to the lineup during competition, but also to the prac-
tice room where his consistent work ethic is a great example for the team’s young wrestlers. In his senior year, the program has leaned on Owen and his maturity to help the team uphold the high standards of the Latin Wrestling tradition.
MAX RIMLER
Like the other five seniors, Max joined the wrestling team in the 6th grade. But unlike his classmates, Max was hindered by injuries early in his high school career that forced him off the mat. He chose to continue support- ing the team by taking on the role
of team manager. Now his body is healed and strengthened, and Max has rejoined the team on the mat to help solidify the upper weight classes and contributed a fifth place finish at the CISAA championship. When not in the wrestling room, Max can be found on the diamond as a key contribu-
tor with the Charlotte Latin Baseball team. Latin Wrestling is thankful for Max’s loyalty to the program and hon- ored to forever call him a Mat Hawk.
JACKSON SIMERVILLE-CAPTAIN
Jackson tried wrestling for the first time in 6th grade, and has since been an anchor of our program. As a junior, Jackson was able to break into the starting lineup, and now as a senior, he brings needed experience to our young team. Jackson placed 2nd at CISAAs and finished 5th in the state tournament in the 138 lb. division. Always one to do what is needed for the wrestling program, Jackson was voted a senior captain and has taken a leadership role in the program. Jack- son’s loyalty, work ethic and positive attitude have helped Charlotte Latin School Wrestling maintain its high standard of excellence.
