JB MORRILL
JB is a Latin Lifer and has been a 4-year member of the of
the football program. JB has anchored the offensive line this year, playing center and also contributes to the defensive line. JB is a very hard worker who has had some ups and downs with injuries during his career, but he always kept a positive attitude and came back stronger. JB is willing to jump in anywhere and help the team in any way possi-
ble. The coaches will miss his hard-working attitude and his dedication to his teammates.
DAVE MOSRIE
In the middle of the 2020 football season, Dave stepped in when our kicker suffered an injury – and what seemed to be just a way to help his team has turned
into one of the most prolific scoring seasons in Charlotte Latin football history. Dave currently ranks tied for 20th
in the country for PAT’s and
is tied for 3rd nationally in field goals. His presence has also been felt on kickoff with 5 touchbacks and 5 tackles. “Fundamental Dave” has been a huge asset to CLS football and will be greatly missed!
JOHN PENCE-CAPTAIN
John is a Latin Lifer and has been a 2-year starter for the Hawks. He is a true utility player that has started at linebacker, wide receiver, defensive line, tight end, and defensive back. John was voted a senior captain by his peers and coaches because of his positive attitude, the energy he brings to the team, and his valuable leadership. The coaches will miss his big smile, and thank him for all of his contributions to the Latin football program!
DAVIS THOMPSON
Davis is a Latin Lifer and has been a four-year member of the football program. Davis has been a versatile member of the team, playing as a wide receiver and defensive back for the Hawks, as well as fill- ing a starting role on special teams and being a big con- tributor for the offense and defense. The coaches say he is one of the hardest workers on the team and consistently stays after practice for more reps. They will miss his great work ethic and thank him
for all he has given to Latin football!
