MILLIE PATTERSON - CAPTAIN
Millie has been part of the program since 7th grade and a varsity mem- ber for three years. Her love for both the game and her teammates shows every single day and earned her the role of captain. Millie reached a career high of 8 kills in a match during our win this year against Lake Norman Christian. Outside of volleyball, Millie continues to influence other students as the founder of Students for Stu- dents and a Girl Up leader. Although she is undecided on what her future career path might be, she is interested in public policy or business. Millie has many favorite Latin volleyball mem- ories, but the two she loves the most were eating sandwiches this year before games as a team and sending “caught” photos in the group chat.
MADDI RHODES - CAPTAIN
Maddi is our only four-year varsity vol- leyball player and was named captain by her teammates. Maddi reached a career high of 15 kills in a match during our win this year against Westminster Catawba Christian. Maddi also plays softball during the spring season and enjoys baking, and she plans on pursu- ing her passion for baking by working towards a major in baking and pastry arts and service management. Maddi’s favorite Latin volleyball memory was the five-set away game at Charlotte Christian her freshman year, and her greatest accomplishment was being named captain this year. Maddi has been asked to play every position other than libero and she has taken on each challenge for the good of the team.
