GRACE CRUTCHFIELD-CAPTAIN
Grace is a 3-year varsity player and one of the captains of this year’s team. Grace is a perfect example of how persistence and determination pays off. She has worked her way into the starting line-up in what is considered her “second” sport, because she approaches lacrosse with the same focus she has in field hockey. Grace’s work ethic, leadership and respect for her teammates makes her a valuable asset. She has become one of our most consistent low attackers, who does a great job finding her team- mates on a feed or creating space for the ball. We wish her the best at the University of Miami next year.
ELIZA POOLE
Eliza has been on the varsity team for 4 years and is our most versatile player. When we needed a veteran player to move to defense this season, she was willing to make that move. Eliza’s will- ingness to play where the team needs her the most, and her commitment
to refining those skills to make the team better, speak volumes about her character. She has become one of our strongest defensive players and is inte- gral to our clear. Eliza is a quiet leader and her teammates love her sense of humor. We know she will excel at Texas Christian University.
ELIZABETH ROSE
Affectionately known as E-B, Elizabeth Rose is a 4-year varsity player who also plays basketball for the Hawks. She has made major contributions to the suc- cess of this year’s lacrosse team - she developed her skills as one of our draw specialists and had a total of 52 goals, 16 assists, 48 ground balls and 63 draw controls. E-B has trained hard on the field and in the Strength Center to im- prove her game and it has paid off. She is a force in the midfield. E-B was look- ing for a school that would combine high-level academics with a competi- tive lacrosse program, and she found
it in Massachusetts where she will be attending Amherst College next fall.
