 TENNIS SENIORS
FRONT ROW (L-R): Ethan Li, Jackson Morgan, Andrew Chang
  Congratulations Seniors!
      ANDREW CHANG-CAPTAIN
Andrew joined the varsity his freshmen year. He was playing very well last year before Covid cancelled our season and picked up right where he left off this year. Andrew and Jackson Morgan have been clutch at Line 3 doubles this season, losing only 1 regular season match. Andrew’s consistency and solid net play has worked beautifully with Jackson’s power game. Andrew is also a reliable singles player, embracing a more ag- gressive style. He has been a thoughtful, insightful captain, and we wish him well at New York University.
JACKSON MORGAN-CAPTAIN
Jackson joined the varsity his sopho- more year and immediately showed promise, especially in doubles. This year, he has teamed with Andrew Chang to secure a 10-1 record at Line
3 doubles, including a key win against top seed Charlotte Country Day. Jack- son’s big serve, forehand, and volleying skills make him a tough opponent in singles and doubles. His commitment to fitness and nutrition over the Pan- demic has also really helped his game. As a captain, Jackson has done a great job leading the team and connecting with his teammates. He’ll head to the University of Miami this fall.
ETHAN LI-CAPTAIN
Ethan has been a 4-year player on
the varsity. He has tallied a significant number of wins for the Hawks over that time, contributing greatly to our overall team success in the past 3 years. Ethan’s laser groundstrokes push his opponents back and into a defensive position almost immediately. He is
also a consistent and reliable doubles player. Ethan is laid back and funny off the court and has brought some great team-building ideas to us as one of our SALT leaders. He’ll attend UNC Chapel Hill next year
