ANDREW COWAN - CAPTAIN
Andrew is a 3-year varsity soccer member. He is a strong, rugged defender who is very good in the air and a great tackler. With a calm but forceful demeanor Andrew directs and leads our defensive back line. He is one of the most solid leaders our program has ever had, and is a pillar in the Latin community. The players’ respect for Andrew led to his election as one of our captains.
JULIAN EVANS - CAPTAIN
Julian has been in the varsity program for 2 years. Previously, Julian had
been in the prestigious IMG Acade-
my program in Bradenton, Florida. He plays center midfield with incredible skill and has an incredible soccer IQ. Julian is like a coach on the field with his awareness of what is happening everywhere. His vision and skill in delivering all ranges of passing, gives him the ability to get the ball to the right person at the right time. Julian is a quiet leader who has a way of making players of all levels better on our team. This year his ability to take dangerous free kicks gave our offense a real boost. Julian earned 1st Team All-Conference honors this year.
RILEY HAYNIE
Riley has been in our varsity soccer program for 2 years. He plays our holding midfield position with incredible passion and energy. His height, jump- ing ability, and ability to read the flight of the ball help him to dominate in the air. Riley has speed, quickness, and a long reach that makes him very difficult to get around when opponents try to attack us down the middle of the field. He absolutely leaves it all on the field during the course of the game as much as any player I have ever coached.
