        VARSITY FOOTBALL
The varsity football team felt the loss of having 14 seniors graduate
in 2020, but this young Hawks team showed tremendous potential as they steadily learned, developed, and improved throughout the season. Although the team effort did not result in wins, there were many indi- viduals recognized for their work. Senior Chase Montgomery and junior Daniel Haughton both earned 1st Team All-Conference and 2nd Team All-State honors for linebacker and wide receiver, respectively. Sopho- more Aaron Logan was named a 2nd Team All-Conference linebacker and earned All-State Honorable Mention. Senior William McCabe (offen- sive line) and sophomore Sam Haines (running back) were selected as 2nd Team All-Conference.
JUNIOR VARSITY FOOTBALL
This year was very interesting dealing with COVID-19 guidelines and having players on and off campus but even with all the challenges we got better each week. The team had great leadership from our fresh- men who were returners and a lot of unselfish acts from guys who were asked to play positions that they normally don’t play for the better of our team and program.
7TH GRADE FOOTBALL
Beginning the season with 20 of the 23 players never having played organized, tackle football meant a steep learning curve, even under normal circumstances. Despite competing against older, more experi- enced players in every game, this group of young men always played with enthusiasm, determination, and sportsmanship.
