GIRLS VOLLEYBALL RECAP
VARSITY VOLLEYBALL
The season was disrupted numerous times, but the fourteen girls on the roster showed resilience and determination. Led by three seniors, the team showed great improvements throughout the fall. The record for this team does not show the efforts they put in day in and day out despite the adversity of the 2020 season. These girls demonstrated character and heart throughout each match and put themselves in a position to compete every day.
JUNIOR VARSITY VOLLEYBALL
After two months together, they bonded as friends and teammates and grew immensely in communication and technical skills. The players inspired each other, were fierce and focused, provided positive energy, worked hard, and played their best.
8TH GRADE VOLLEYBALL
The team worked hard to learn a new system and each player improved throughout the course of the season. They possessed a unique team chemistry that was very encouraging. The highlights of the season included a win over PD and the middle school program’s first victory at Holy Trinity in many years.
7TH GRADE VOLLEYBALL
The team made the most of every practice, arriving with enthusiasm and an eagerness to learn. Besides learning all the fundamental skills necessary to be competitive, the girls truly played together as a TEAM. Excellent serving was a key to our success along with a rock-solid de- fense. The team finished with a 4-1 record.
