Latin Wrestling prides itself in its development of service leaders and those who are more concerned with the well-being of team members than they are for themselves. Will embod- ies this description and like his older brother Harrison, Will decided to join the wrestling team in the 6th grade. Known for his sense of humor, Will has become the team member who helps to lighten the mood during stressful times. He has been a great help to our younger wrestlers, both in their training and by instilling the culture of the program. The efforts of Will, and others like him, are what keeps our wrestling community strong.
A man of many skills, Giancarlo tried
wrestling for the first time as a 9th grad-
er. Being well-liked by all his teammates,
he has been a valuable member of the
program throughout his high school
career. Giancarlo is someone who brings
energy to every practice and is always supportive of his wrestling partners.
Whether it’s as a professional musician, engineer, or programmer, Latin wres-
tling looks forward to Giancarlo’s future
success. team.
As is often the case in the Mat Hawk program, Andrew followed an older sibling into the wrestling room, but he quickly established himself as an asset to the team. Wrestling’s 195-pound state runner-up is also a member of the Student Athlete Leadership Team, as well as an Eagle Scout.
