Congratulations Seniors!
SAM HOUSE-CAPTAIN
Sam is a 4-year varsity baseball letter- man whose athleticism and versatility have benefitted the Hawks as he has logged innings on the mound, behind the plate, at third base, at first base and in the outfield. He has also ex- celled in wrestling at Charlotte Latin, winning an individual state title in 2019 and two runner-up finishes during his wrestling career. Sam sends a special “thank you” to his Grandfather who in- troduced him to the game of baseball and made him hate the Yankees. Sam will be attending Queens University in the fall to continue his baseball career and major in Business Administration.
CHRISTOPHER RONEK-CAPTAIN
Christopher is also a 4-year varsity baseball letterman that has progressed throughout his time at Charlotte Latin. His work ethic has been outstanding and he has developed into one of
the area’s top catchers. Christopher’s receiving, blocking and throwing have really been a huge strength of this year’s team. He is also a multi-sport athlete that competed all four years on our state championship wrestling team. Christopher sends a special shout out to his Mom and Dad for always be-
ing there for him. Christopher will be attending Hampden-Sydney College next year to play baseball and plans to major in Business Administration.
NATHAN SAMII-CAPTAIN
Nathan is another 4-year varsity base- ball letterman garnering Second Team All-Conference honors in his sopho- more season. After starting last year’s season on fire at the plate, and having the season cut short by COVID, Nathan has battled through several injuries.
He missed the beginning of the 2021 season, but the coaching staff couldn’t be more proud of his outstanding lead- ership and the mentorship he provided his teammates during practices and games. Nathan sends a special shout out to his family, teachers, and coach- es who have helped him throughout his journey at Charlotte Latin School. Nathan will be attending Middlebury College to continue his baseball career and will likely major in Economics.
