RYAN LIETZ-CAPTAIN
Ryan became one of our top midfield- ers and led the team in goals from the midfield. As a younger athlete, Ryan deferred to the older players both on the football and lacrosse fields. This year, as a senior captain, Ryan has be- come the heart and soul of this varsity group. He always does what is best for the team – whether it’s scoring a goal when we need a momentum shift or being the first to collect balls follow- ing a practice or game. We wish him well next year.
WILLIAM MCCABE-CAPTAIN
William has been a member of the Hawks lacrosse program since seventh grade, and has continually developed his skills both with the Latin team
and with Team Carolina. William has become a strong faceoff man but also plays offense with the first midfield group. As a senior captain, Will has been an effective leader, both on and off the field. His work ethic, depend- ability and leadership will serve him well as he moves on to the United States Military Academy at West Point
BROCK MIDDENDORF-CAPTAIN
Brock has been an outstanding defend- er – both at Latin and as a member of the Team Carolina program. Brock has an aggressive, physical style of play, and he strives for success every day. His commitment to building strength in the weight room has made him a good role model for younger players, and Brock has been a very good captain this year. He takes lacrosse very seriously and that dedication has led him to an op- portunity to play in college. The coach- es look forward to watching him excel in the classroom and on the lacrosse field next year at Sewanee, University of the South.
