5Dear Members, Benefactors and Apostles of the Living Rosary, This is such a beautiful time of the year in our Ukrainian Catholic Church. God physically walked the earth two thousand years ago, but because He looked like an ordinary man, few believed in Him. Today, He is present under the form of what appears to be ordinary Bread and Wine and, again, only few believe in Him. We believe and we speak out! Glory be to Jesus Christ! Glory be to Him forever! We celebrate the Divine Liturgy of Apostolic origin, as received from St. James, the Bishop of Jerusalem, and later strengthened by Sts. Basil and Chrysostom, in all its pristine beauty and majesty for we have never had any innovations under the Golden Domes. God explains salvation to each of us every time we pray the Our Father... %u201cThy Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven!%u201d Our Lord tells us that the Kingdom of God is within us; and not only within us, but in the very depths of our being. How few come to live a life of real faith, sustained by hopeand aflame with the love of God, in order to participate fully in the life that Jesus longs to share with us! We have, indeed, received an infinite treasure but we do not realize its true worth. We must not rest content with a fewdevotional exercises at the beginning of the day,for that does not constitute LIFE. Theword, LIFE, denotes a constant, persevering activity. Our Lord wants to be our life!We must turn the whole of our day into a continuous prayer. Looking back over our spiritual life, we are surprised, if not disheartened, at our slownessand apparent lack of progress. How is it that there has been so much effort with so little apparent progress? Any form of asceticism which has for its goal the perfecting of self, is utterly worthless. He who sows human seed can reap only a human harvest. We must learn to trust in God and mistrust our own strength. Let us enter and live in the Kingdom within us. One tiny spark of faith is enough to spiritually transform the whole world. We must learn to place our trust in God! God is everywhere. In Him, we live and move, and have our being. God governs and directs all our ways. Apart from Him, we cannot lift a finger. If anyone loves God, he will keep His Word and God will make His abode with him. Our destiny is a life of greatest intimacy with God Himself. The bond between Heaven and earth was broken by sin. It was needed for the Father to heal this rupture through the Passionand Deathof His Divine Son. We
