MARK ROBERTS MOTION CONTROL (MRMC), the leading manufacturer of robotic motion control and automated image capture systems has won the Queen’s Award for Enterprise: International Trade. MRMC robotics and software solutions are used all over the world by studios, Hollywood productions, e-commerce outlets, sports broadcasters, national parliaments, football leagues and more. Clients include Sky, BBC, Boeing, Sony, SpaceX, to name a few. Their headquarters is based in the rolling countryside of Surrey, where all robotics are designed in- house, either as a turnkey solution – such as the big robotic rigs – or bespoke with client speci c customisation.
The success of MRMC’s robotic solutions lies
in its precision engineering. MRMC started in 1966, servicing the needs of the TV and  lm industries. It became a leader in robotics for visual e ects and won an Academy Award.

MRMC expects to further increase its global presence, as it now has the backing of Nikon (who recently acquired the company), by using their channels to drive robotics into new international markets.
