Evaporation
In this stage the sun will start to heat up the water from lakes, rivers, or oceans. This will make water turn into vapor. But where does the water go? The vapor will go into the air.
Condensation
Now that the vapor is in the air it starts to cool down and condenses to form clouds. This means the gas will turn into liquid.
Precipitation
Even though you can´t see it from the ground, clouds are made of millions of droplets. When the droplets begin to get bigger the clouds get heavy. This is when it starts to rain or maybe even snow if it´s cold enough.
Now, you know why it´s called water cycle, because it never stops, it goes on and on and on. Well, you get the idea!
