Subject Verb Agreement
The principal behind subject verb agreement means that a singular subject should go with a singular verb and a plural subject should go with a plural verb.
Remember the subject will determine the verb.
Verbs are not nouns; you do not add an “s” to form their plural.
Language Review. Identify and underline the verb that correctly agrees with the subject in each sentence.
