A how-to essay is going to provide the instructions of how to do something. It will give the steps in time order.

First, choose one of the topics below or write one yourself.

2. WRITING
First tell the reader what they are learning to do. Write the instructions clearly in a paragraph form. Put your sentences in order.
Use words such as first, next, then, last.
