 Using the writing process you will begin writing a description.
1. PREWRITING
You will write a description of the Monet picture you drew.
Visualize in your mind what you want to transmit to your readers.
Make a list of details of what you want to describe.
Start writing as many details as you can, they don’t have to be in order, later you will decide which ones you will use.
it is ok to give your personal opinion about the painting.
2. WRITING
Begin by writing a topic sentence. This is a very important sentence because if it is interesting the reader will want to continue reading the description.
Choose the details you like best from the list you wrote.
remember to use comparisons, adjectives and sensory details.
The ending is also a very important paragraph it will summarize the essay.
                                            3. EDITING
Try to improve your description.
does your description make sense? did you use sensory words?
Check for errors.
revise your spelling and punctuation.
rewrite your essay. Share it with the class.
