6. Extension to History King Tut
Have you ever heard about the Boy Pharaoh? Do you know what a Pharaoh is?
Thousands of years ago in Ancient Egypt, there lived a boy king. That is what a Pharaoh is: an Ancient Egyptian King.
This boy king was named Tutankhamen. He was born in Egypt in a time when Egyptians were very powerful.
He is famous because he became king when he was only 9 years old, and very soon after that got married. But sadly, he lived for a very short time. It is believed that he died when he was 18.
Even though he lived for a short time, he is very well known because when they discovered his grave it was very well preserved. His grave contained fabulous treasures, because the Egyptians believed he would need them in the afterlife.
