6. What is MLK asking his people to do in their struggle against oppression?
He is asking them to not quench their thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred. To forever conduct their struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline. To not allow their creative protest to degenerate into physical violence, and to meet physical force with soul force.
7. What are MLK’s views on trusting white people? What does he say about their destiny and freedom?
He is encouraging his people to not be distrustful of ALL white people, because there are some that have realized that their destinies are tied up, and that their freedom is inextricably bound.
8. What is the basic truth that MLK mentions as the Nation’s creed?
That ALL men are created Equal.
