PERFECT TENSES
Present perfect tense expresses an action that is completed in the present.
You form this tense by using:
has or have + past participle
Example:
I have seen him before.
Past perfect tense expresses an action that has been completed in the past.
You form this tense by using:
had + past participle
Example:
I had written a report about Shakespeare.
Future perfect expresses an action that will be continued in the future.
You form this tense by using
will + have+ past participle
Example:
It will have stopped raining by the time we get there.
