19. Following Loki’s myth, how did the Nordic people explained earthquakes?
The gods decided to banish Loki to the cave of sorrows. They tied Loki around some sharp rocks in the cave and a giantess named Skadi hung a great snake over Loki’s head, and when its venom dripped onto Loki’s face, it caused terrible pain. Loki would twist in agony, causing the whole world to shake.

It waster who captured the wolf Fenrir and bound him with a magical rope fashioned by the dwarves.
21. What ingredients were necessary to create the rope of Fenrir?
It was fashioned out of the roots of stones, the breath of a fish, the beards of women, the noise made by the footfalls of a cat, the sinews of bears and the spittle of a bird.

One day the sword was lost in battle and a prophet announced that the person who possessed it would become a powerful leader who would die by the same sword that gave him his victory.
