“Sheldon! SO you DO know him?!” said Suzy, looking surprised, “Then why didn’t you tell us?”
“I was going to tell you, but then he chewed up a chair leg and ate the turkey, and I knew mom and dad were going to make me give him away! But he needs me! He followed me home, and I’ve been feeding him and taking care of him for a week,” said the little girl, pouting.
Jake had an idea, “Wait...why won’t your parents let you have a dog?”
Suzy’s sister pouted, “Because they are allergic and because they say I won’t be responsible!”
Jeff realized what his brother was thinking and asked, “Have they been sneezing or anything lately?”
Suzy and her sister both shook their heads.
Jake grinned, “Then you don’t have a problem! Just tell them that, and tell them how you took care after Sheldon all by yourself!”
Suzy grinned, “Great idea! We’ll try it!”
A few days later, Amy was sitting outside of her clubhouse. Suzy was walking Sheldon on a leash. Amy waved at her. Suzy waved back and smiled. Amy grinned. “Case closed”.
