The girl sat down, and shook Amy’s hand. “I’m Suzy, and I have a case for you. It may sound a little odd though.” Amy smiled and shook her head “Trust me; we have had
many strange cases, like one
involving a stolen Christmas
tree, an invisible frog, and a lost
maraca. So, what’s the case
about?”
Suzy bit her lip and suddenly burst out, “We lost our turkey!”
Amy looked surprised, “You have a pet turkey? I mean, I’ve had a pet iguana, and a pet chicken, but a turkey?”
Suzy shook her head, “No, not
a pet. It was our Thanksgiving
dinner, and it was cooked and all ready for our Thanksgiving family reunion, but we went on a walk. We came back and it was gone! The only thing left was the plate!”
