It was covered with a wet, slimy stuff, and the chair leg had a bunch of tooth marks.
“Um, Suzy?” said Amy.
“Yeah?” asked Suzy, “Did you find a clue?”

“Oops!” said Jeff. He had tripped over a chair. They both fell down, the chair backwards, Jeff on his stomach.
Jake ran to his brother and helped him up.
Amy grabbed the chair leg to put it back to its place and then let go, looking confused. “It’s wet!”
“Wet?” asked Jeff.
Amy nodded. She looked at
the chair closely.
