Welcome to a Brief on Magnetic Propulsion.
Opening Statement:
Magnetic Propulsion, is the ability for a computer-controlled, accelerated magnetic field to
induce angular momentum (spin) in a flywheel of nearly any diameter, or weight. A spinning
flywheel stores energy (mechanical energy), that at any point in its rotation, can drive a
generator that will produce electrical energy. Magnetic Propulsion, as I have discovered,
proves that a permanent magnetic field does work, by initiating angular momentum in a
flywheel (spin), as well as constant and continuous acceleration, without the need to increase
the amount of parasitic power used by the computer-controller.
Over the last 30 years, I have been passively and as of 2009 actively involved (laboratory) in
research based on a foundational document written in 1929, by the late scientist Leo Szilard.
Szilard’s research paper or proposal, entitled “On the Decrease of Entropy in a Thermodynamic
System by the Intervention of Intelligent Beings”. This research has not only been a hobby of
mine for decades, but also has motivated me to design and conduct physical experiments from
the mid-1980s, until 2009, when I began full scale laboratory experiments, on nearly a full-time
basis.
Over the last several years I have been routinely asked to explain how I became involved in this
line of research, and my motivations for doing so. I have taken the time, in the last few years to
explain the genesis of my research in detail during in-person meetings. The feedback that I
received from the listeners, was not what I at all expected. What they had expected was a deep
discussion on magnets, and/or magnetism, and the forces of magnetism that have fascinated
many of us as children and throughout our adult years.
My research, at this point, spanning eleven years, was based not on magnets and magnetism as
a whole, but on the research of Szilard, who published his theories, and his speculations on the
nd
2 law of thermodynamics. To put it simply, I was most interested in whether or not entropy
(chaos) could actually be decreased in a system to the point where the energy created by the
system was more than the energy it took to operate the system. To state it as a question, in its
simplest form; Can friction in any system be reduced to a point where the friction in that
system is so small the systems output exceeds its minimum input?
