T e Gif of Music
Welcome and thank you for attending our Spring Recital. We have a
wonderful line up of performers to entertain you. While you enjoy the concert,
please remember that in addition to the skills the students demonstrate,
music education helps prepare young people to think creatively, learn how to
work collaboratively and to become disciplined, critical thinkers as well as
better problem solvers, and more confident!
We feel so fortunate to be able to teach and share our knowledge with such a
special and unique group of students. They continue to amaze us with their
intelligence, musicality as well as their sense of humor.
This past year has been full of learning, progress and accomplishments.
Today we are not only celebrating the fact that you are learning music but you
are also willing to share this gift with others. It is not an easy task to go on
stage and perform.
Today is a celebration; it is the very first recital for some students. Our recital
will showcase a wide variety of levels from young beginners right through to
advanced students. This variety gives older students the opportunity to
remember what it was like to be a beginner, and younger students the chance
to see what their hard work will enable them to accomplish in the future!
Enjoy the Show!
