Beta Lambda Chapter

Winston-Salem, North Carolina

She is a member of Beta Lambda Chapter, where she joined in 1979, after
graduating from Winston-Salem State University in 1978, where she was a
charter member of Kappa Omicron Tau in 1977. She is a twenty-five year
member, and a Life Member of NSPDK, Inc.. She presently serves the Eastern
Region as KOT Chair and Clerical Assistant. She is a retired educator and
administrator from Winston-Salem / Forsyth County Schools where she served
for twenty-eight (28) years from School Bus Driver, Primary Reading Teacher,
Kindergarten Teacher to Assistant Principal. Her favorite subjects to teach were
reading and social studies. Her hobbies and talents include event planning,
program production, singing, theatre and administering. Her social clubs and

organization affiliations include NAACP Branch 7089, Fayette Area Historical
Initiative, Parkway Summit Community Gospel Choir, and National Women of
Achievement. She is a life-long member of Christian View Missionary Baptist
Church in Spencer, VA where she sings and serves as Director of Christian
Education, Administrative Assistant.
