She is a member of Beta Tau Chapter, where she has been a member for
forty-six (46) years. She is a retired Assistant Principal from Wicomico
County School System, after thirty (32) years of service. Her favorite subject
to teach was Math. Her hobbies include sewing, reading, and traveling.

Social Club affiliations include Princess Ann Chapter of the Links,
Missionary Committee, NAACP Life Member, inducted into the Hall of
Fame for Maryland Senior Citizenship, Member of Wicomico County
Commission for Women, inducted into the Wicomico County Commission
for Women Hall of Fame 2020 and she was the first African American Girl
Scout Leader on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. She is a member of Faith
Baptist Church. Her special talents include dance and making Christmas
stocking blankets for newborns at Peninsula Regional Medical Center, where
she is also a volunteer there for the Auxiliary Board, and received the Merit
Fellowship from PRMC.
