Each student should be aware of their individual learning style and pace. The
textbook provides step-by-step instruction. If difficulties arise, contact the
instructor, the Success Center, or a fellow classmate for help. Tutors are
available and should be requested and utilized when extensive assistance is
needed. Contact the campus dean or the Success Center instructor if you want
the assistance of a tutor.

What does it cost the student to have a tutor? Nothing, it is FREE.

How will a tutor help me?

A tutor will be provided by the college at your request. This person will try
to help you understand your coursework. This person will not do your
homework for you. To take advantage of the time with your tutor, read the
chapter and do as much homework as you can. Prepare questions for areas
that are unclear to you.

A tutor can assist you with those “bumps” in the road.
