Get away from it all

Louisiana has 21 state parks and countless ways to
experience every one of them. You’ll find excellent

camping and picnic areas, including well-equipped
cabins and RV parks. Jimmie Davis State Park is
popular with families, fishermen, cyclists and campers.
Thanks to the park’s unique geography, located on a
narrow peninsula with numerous inlets, you’re never
more than a skipping-stone’s throw away from the
water. Check a few other state parks off your list
by visiting Lake Claiborne, Lake D’Arbonne and
Palmetto Island.
