Louisiana’s Audubon Golf Trail
CARTER PLANTATION
SPRINGFIELD
Carter Plantation is home to PGA Champion and
Louisiana native David Toms’ design. The spectacular
course plays through three distinct Louisiana land-
scapes—live oaks, cypress wetlands and upland pine
forests. Great effort has been made to preserve the
plantation’s native wildlife habitats, with water coming
into play on 11 of the holes.

Copper Mill is a “links-style” course reminiscent of those The Farm d’Allie Golf Club in Carencro is a spectacular

strategically placed bunkers and water hazards on 13 bottomland or Beau Basin, which was once the river
of the holes. You’ll find that each hole at Copper Mill is bend of the “Mighty Mississippi.” At one time this tract
truly memorable. was used for growing cotton, soybeans, raising cattle,
and a popular place for locals to ride their horses.
Hence, the name “Farm d’ Allie.”
