JALAPEÑO CHEESE BREAD



      Starter:                        Starter:
                                      Dissolve yeast & sugar in warm water.
      ½ cup warm water
                                      Let stand for 5 minutes.
      3 tbsp. instant yeast
      1 tsp. sugar                    Remainder:
                                      Add flour, sugar, salt, butter, diced
                                      jalapeños and warm water. Mix till

                                      smooth. Add shredded cheese. Mix till
      3-4 cups all purpose flour      evenly combined. Do not overmix to avoid
      1 tbsp. (+1 tsp.) sugar         melting cheese.
      1 tsp. salt
                                      Take dough out and knead, forming into a
      1 cup warm water                dough ball.
      ⅓ cup butter (room temperature)

      1 tbsp. (heaping) jalapeño slices,    Oil bread pan and place dough ball inside.
        diced & drained
                                      Brush top of loaf with melted butter.
      3 tbsp. shredded cheddar cheese
                                      Let rise in warm place till well-formed.

                                      Bake in oven at 325°F for 19 minutes.
