NORTH LOUISIANA: A TASTE OF SPORTSMAN’S PARADISE

     DISCOVER MONROE-WEST MONROE

DUCK DYNASTY RETURNS, BUT DUCK’S ALWAYS BEEN ON THE MENU IN MONROE-WEST MONROE
The beards are back, and once again, all eyes are on Monroe-West Monroe. With Duck Dynasty: The Revival launching on A&E, the Robertson
family is returning to the spotlight and so is the place they call home.

But here’s the thing: while the show is making a comeback, duck has never left the table in Monroe-West Monroe. Long before reality TV cameras
rolled through town, local chefs were already celebrating the area’s rich duck hunting heritage with inventive, flavorful dishes that have become
     signature staples on their menus.

At Warehouse No. 1, Parish, Restaurant Cotton, and Jay Pappa’s, you’ll find duck wraps that are anything but ordinary - savory, tender, and
packed with Southern flavor. Over at Planters, the duck pizza adds a rich, meaty twist to a classic favorite. They also serve up golden, crispy
duck fat fries, as does Cotton, delivering that extra indulgent crunch that keeps locals coming back.

Jay Pappa’s doesn’t stop with wraps. They also serve a standout seared duck pasta that balances comfort with culinary finesse. And if you’re
starting your day early, Delta Biscuit Co. offers duck fat hash browns that take breakfast to a whole new level.

These dishes aren’t just delicious..they’re a part of the culture here. Monroe-West Monroe is deeply rooted in outdoor traditions, and local
chefs have been turning that legacy into culinary inspiration for years. The resurgence of Duck Dynasty might be bringing fresh attention to
the area, but our restaurants have been honoring the duck for decades.

So whether you’re a fan of the show, a foodie on the hunt for bold bites, or just someone craving a good meal, Monroe-West Monroe offers a
dining experience steeped in flavor, heritage, and a little Southern charm.
