Summer Babysitting Clinic
This course covers everything you need to know regarding safety, child behavior, fun activities, and babysitter readiness! Learn the proper techniques for emergencies. All materials are provided including information to use at home to make you the most sought after sitter. You will have the opportunity to work hands-on with young children during this instructional class. Lunch and snack is provided. Please bring a doll or large stu ed animal to class. Instructed by Karen Cooper.
Teen Leadership Camp
This camp will teach skills and techniques toward developing teens to be awesome leaders, build self-con dence, and em- power them to inspire the same in others. During this unique camp we will meet with leaders in the community, work on
fun team building activities and most importantly participate
in a variety of community service projects from start to  nish including developing  yers and other types of media. Campers will learn life skills as they volunteer at local food pantries, animal rescue shelters, and other non-for-pro t organizations. Community service hours will be awarded at the end of the camp to be used for schools, clubs, and church organizations. Participants must complete an application and have 2 letters of recommendations to enroll in camp. Lunch, snack, t-shirt, back pack,  eld trips, and swimming will be included. The Counselor-in-Training Program is designed to o er quali-  ed young teens an opportunity to prepare for positions as camp counselors when they reach the appropriate ages. Em- phasis is placed upon developing leadership skills, sensitivity to children, and program skills. Participation in the CIT program is by selection. Those interested in the program must complete an application process, which includes an application, refer- ences, and an interview. Only 5 applicants will be accepted. Included in the fee is bus transportation, lunch,  eld trip fees, one camp t-shirt and one swim tote bag per summer.
