Pilcher Park Nature Center
Pilcher Park Nature Center appeals to people of all ages. Over 25,000 people visit the Nature Center each year. Its mission is to educate children and adults about the wonders of nature through exploration, discovery and fun. The facility welcomes school field trips, neighborhood and church groups and families for programs and special events throughout the year.
Over 4,000 students attend the Underground Railroad educational field trip and over 3,000 students attend the maple syrup field trip each year. The Nature Center also houses a nature-based early learning center and rental space.
Fairy Fest
The Pilcher Park Nature Center is transformed into a fairyland with games, a wand-making station, a nail salon, flower hikes, bubble and ribbon dancing and carriage rides. Over 1,200 children attend Fairy Fest each year.
