Sunshine and Rainbows Learning Center
The Sunshine and Rainbows Learning Center has been educating early childhood learners for almost 40 years. There are 250 children registered for the 2018 – 2019 school year. Each participant receives a t-shirt and book bag. In addition, other early childhood classes have over 800 participants enrolled annually.
The Joliet Park District also offers Summer Camp and Specialty Camp programs for children in grades k-8. Over 400 summer campers and 200 specialty campers were enrolled in 2018. This camp offers affordable day care that promotes an active healthy lifestyle. Each participant receives a backpack and t-shirt. Other youth programs include gymnastics and an early childhood tum- bling program with an enrollment of over 300.
